Creator/Marketer Steve Jobs had never imagined such small product to change the world as much as it did. It not only changed the world, but it also changed the way people look at life. Jef Raskin, an Apple employee who wanted an easy to use and low cost computer for the average person. He had begun the Macintosh project in 1979. Jef got the name â€Å"Macintosh† from his favorite apple, the McIntosh. He changed the spelling for legal reasons. Steve jobs has requested that McIntosh Laboratory give Apple a release to use the name with the spelling changed so that Apple was able to use it. McIntosh Laboratory denied that request, therefore Apple had to eventually buy the rights to use the â€Å"Macintosh† name.
